To help with asynchronous learning, the American Writers Museum offers the following education materials that focus on the American Voices virtual exhibit.
For Grades 5-7: Our education materials help students critically think of an author’s purpose of writing on themes of Influence, Persuasion, and Entertainment.
For Grades 8-12: Students analyze the theme of Identity by reading authors presented in the American Voices virtual exhibit. Students can lead an in-class discussion by presenting authors that have written on the sub-themes of racial, gender, religious, and national origin Identities.
